The recent completion of the 802.11 wireless broadband network in the Nunavik territory of northern Quebec has wired the Inuit. This paper explores aspects of culture and industry affected by this technology.

Examples include digital communication between tribal members, international export and expanding customer base for indigenous Inuit carving, painting and weaving, regional eco-tourism development and expansion through web-design (focus on tracking and hunting) and political electronic agendas of the regional aboriginal government. Presentation includes extensive multi-media component.
