Online learning has been popular for some years. Research has been done into the advantages of online learning. There have been few studies on which advantages or advantages determine a student's choice of taking an online course instead of traditional course. A survey study of 80 students who had at least one online class was conducted to determine the factors that determined a student's choice of an online class. The study reveals that flexibility and self-pacing, rather than learning styles, are the major factors influencing a student's choice.
